WIESBADEN – In February 2018, the construction prices for conventionally constructed new residential buildings (construction work performed at the building; including turnover tax) in Germany were up 4.0% compared with February 2017. In November 2017, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the prices increased 3.4% on a year earlier. Compared with November 2017, the prices for residential buildings rose up 1.7% in February 2018.
Concerning non-residential buildings, in February 2018, the prices were up 4.1% for office buildings and also for industrial buildings compared with February 2017. For road construction the prices rose up 5.3% compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year.
