WIESBADEN – 1.474 people died in traffic accidents on German roads in the first six months of 2018. According to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), this was a decrease of 51 people, or 3.3%, on the first half of 2017. The number of people injured dropped by 0.2% to roughly 185,200.
