WIESBADEN – A total of 33 million out of 39.5 million working internet users from the age of 16 worked with computers or computer-controlled devices and machinery in Germany in 2018. Based on results of the survey of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in households, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that 91% of this group regarded their IT skills at least as sufficient for their professional activity.
