WIESBADEN – In April 2019, 230 people were killed in road traffic accidents in Germany. Based on provisional figures, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was a decrease of 44 people, or 16.1%, compared with April 2018. The number of people injured, too, was down by 14.1% to roughly 30,000 in April 2019 compared with the same month a year earlier.
