WIESBADEN – Approximately 124.4 million passengers boarded flights from the 24 largest commercial airports in Germany in 2019. According to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the record high of 2018 (122.6 million passengers) was exceeded in 2019. However, the increase on the previous year (+1.5%) was considerably smaller than in 2018 (+4.2%).
