WIESBADEN – As reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), turnover in the German accommodation and food service activities in the year 2019 increased by 0.6% in real terms and by 3.0% in nominal terms compared with the previous year.
In December 2019, turnover in the German accommodation and food service activities decreased by 1.9% in real terms compared with December 2018 and increased in nominal terms by 0.8%.
After adjustment for calendar and seasonal effects (X13 JDemetra+), the turnover in the German accommodation and food service activities in December 2019 was in real terms 2.9% and in nominal terms 2.8% lower than that in the previous month. –
