WIESBADEN – In 2019, the annual turnover in the main construction industry was up 5.1% compared with 2018. Thus turnover in the main construction industry increased for the seventh year in a row. Based on provisional results, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that, compared with the previous year, an increase in turnover was recorded for all branches of the main construction industry. The number of persons employed was up 1.9% on a year earlier.
