Press release No. 479 of 3 December 2020

WIESBADEN – Average mobility in Germany fell by 8.5% in November 2020 on the same month of the preceding year. This is shown by a special evaluation of experimental data of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) one month after the partial lockdown to contain the coronavirus pandemic took effect on 2 November. The figures show that, in November, mobility was markedly down, whereas in October a slight increase of an average 1.5% on October of the previous year was observed.
