WIESBADEN – The number of students at German higher education institutions increased once more in the winter semester of 2020/2021. 2,948,700 students are enrolled at higher education institutions in Germany according to first provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). Compared with the winter semester of 2019/2020, the number of students is up by 57,600 or 2%.
