WIESBADEN – Turnover in the non-financial business economy in Germany was slightly up in September 2021 compared with the previous month. Based on provisional data, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the nominal (not price adjusted) turnover increased by 1.2% on a calendar and seasonally adjusted basis compared with August 2021. Turnover thus was 13.6% higher than in February 2020, the month before restrictions were imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic in Germany.
