WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that the number of overnight stays in accommodation establishments with 10 or more bed places and in tourist campsites having 10 or more pitches increased by 161.0% to 18.8 million in Germany in February 2022, compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year.
Compared with February 2020, the number of overnight stays declined by -37.3%.
