WIESBADEN – In 2021, a total of 192,000 people received financial assistance within the scope of the Upgrading Training Assistance Act. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this is just under 8% more than in the previous year (178,200). Upgrading training assistance is financial support provided to participants in vocational upgrading training measures. It covers part of the costs of the training measure and of the living expenses.
