Turnover in the service sector, August 2022 (provisional, calendar and seasonally adjusted)

WIESBADEN – In August 2022, the real (price adjusted) turnover of the service sector in Germany (not including financial and insurance activities) was 0.5% higher and the nominal (not price adjusted) turnover 0.1% higher than in July 2022, according to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) after calendar and seasonal adjustment. Compared with August 2021, the service sector recorded an 11.5% increase in turnover in real terms and a nominal increase of 15.1%.
