WIESBADEN – In November 2022, just over 29,000 people were injured in traffic accidents in Germany. Based on provisional figures, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that their number increased by just under 2,400, or 9%, compared with the same month a year earlier. The number of people killed in traffic accidents rose by seven to 203 in the same period. Compared with November 2019, which was not affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, there were three more fatalities and about 1,500 fewer persons injured (-5%).
