WIESBADEN – Winegrowers in Germany produced 8.94 million hectolitres of wine and must in 2022. The wine and must production exceeded the previous year's level by 491,800 hectolitres, or 6%, according to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). Compared with the average of the years 2016 to 2021, 3.5% more wine and must were produced in 2022 (+304,600 hectolitres).
