Truck toll mileage index, October 2023
-1.9% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
-5.0% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways decreased by 1.9% in October 2023 compared with September 2023, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index fell by 5.0% compared with October 2022.
