Truck toll mileage index, October 2024
+1.4% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
+1.6% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)

KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways increased by 1.4% in October 2024 compared with September 2024, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index rose by 1.6% compared with October 2023.
