Truck toll mileage index, January 2025
-0.1% on the previous month (calendar and seasonally adjusted)
+1.3% on the same month a year earlier (calendar adjusted)
KÖLN/WIESBADEN – The mileage covered by trucks with four or more axles, which are subject to toll charges, on German motorways decreased by 0.1% in January 2025 compared with December 2024, after calendar and seasonal adjustment. The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office (BALM) and the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also report that, on a calendar adjusted basis, the truck toll mileage index was up 1.3% compared with January 2024.
