More about Frederick Richter
Frederick Richter, LL.M., has been the Chairman of the Board of the Stiftung Datenschutz (Foundation for Data Protection) since its founding in 2013. Prior to that, he served as a policy advisor for internet policy in the German Bundestag and as the data protection officer for a business association. Frederick Richter studied law at the University of Hamburg and earned a Master’s degree in IT law from the Universities of Vienna and Hanover.
He is a member of the Advisory Board for Germany's Digital Strategy of the Federal Government, the Advisory Board of the Privacy Platform, and the Advisory Board of the journal 'Recht der Datenverarbeitung' (Law of Data Processing, RDV). He is also a regular contributor to the journal 'Privacy in Germany' (PinG).
