WIESBADEN – As reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), turnover in the German accommodation and food service activities in the first half year 2018 increased by 0.3% in real terms and by 2.5% in nominal terms compared with the corresponding six months of the previous year.
Compared with June 2017, turnover in the German accommodation and food service activities increased in June 2018 by 2.1% in real terms and by 3.8% in nominal terms.
After adjustment for calendar and seasonal effects (Census X-12-ARIMA) the turnover in June 2018 was in real terms 3.2% and in nominal terms 2.9% lower than that in the previous month.
