WIESBADEN – The inflation rate in Germany as measured by the consumer price index is expected to be 1.1% in November 2019. Based on the results available so far, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the consumer prices are expected to decline by 0.8% on October 2019.

In November 2019, the harmonised index of consumer prices for Germany (HICP), which is calculated for European purposes, is expected to increase by 1.2% year on year and decrease by 0.8% on October 2019.
The final results for November 2019 will be released on 12 December 2019.
